Know the story you want to tell.
Choose a few examples that show how you approach your work. Think about the situation, your contribution, and the outcome. Keep each example specific, and be honest about what you learned along the way.
Connect your experience to the role.
Review the responsibilities before the interview. Which parts connect directly to your experience? Where would you need to learn? Be prepared to discuss both your strengths and your questions.
Bring questions that matter to you.
An interview is also your chance to understand the opportunity. Ask about the team, expectations, ways of working, and how success will be assessed. Focus on the information you need to make a thoughtful decision.
Leave room for a real conversation.
Preparation is a starting point, not a script. Listen carefully, ask follow-up questions, and take a moment to think when you need one. Afterwards, reflect on what you learned and share your feedback with your recruiting partner.
